Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026. These terms govern use of this website and the general terms of quotes and orders placed with us.

1. Website Use

This website and its content — including all illustrations, diagrams, specifications, and text — are the property of Rctshuma Fabrication (Pty) Ltd and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

Content on this site, including specs, capacities, and turnaround estimates, is provided for general guidance. Figures on the Capabilities and Materials Guide pages are typical values and may vary by project — always confirm exact specifications for your project through a formal quote.

2. Quotes

A quote issued in response to a request through this website, email, or phone is an estimate based on the information provided at the time. It is not a binding order until confirmed in writing and, where applicable, a deposit is received.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue unless otherwise stated, after which material or labour costs may require re-quoting.

Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope, quantities, or specifications change after fabrication has started, or if site conditions differ materially from what was described at quoting stage.

3. Orders & Payment

Standard payment terms are a 50% deposit to confirm an order and commence fabrication, with the balance due on completion, delivery, or installation as agreed per project. Terms may differ for larger structural contracts and will be confirmed in writing.

Ownership of fabricated goods remains with Rctshuma Fabrication until payment is received in full.

4. Delivery & Site Access

Delivery and installation dates are estimates based on the programme confirmed at order stage. Delays caused by site access issues, weather, or changes requested by the client may affect the delivery or erection schedule.

The client is responsible for providing safe, clear access for delivery vehicles and crane operations where installation is included in the scope.

5. Warranty & Liability

Fabrication and installation work carried out by us is covered by our workmanship warranty — see our Warranty & Quality Assurance page for full coverage, exclusions, and the claims process.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to work performed is limited to the value of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays or defects, except where caused by our gross negligence.

6. Cancellations

Orders cancelled after fabrication has started may be liable for costs already incurred, including material purchased and labour completed to that point. Cancellation terms will be confirmed as part of your order agreement.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
