What's Covered, And How Claims Work
A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to every job we fabricate and install — here's exactly what that covers, what it doesn't, and how to make a claim.
What's Covered
12-Month Workmanship Warranty
All structural welding and fabrication carries a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of handover, covering weld integrity and fabrication defects arising from our work.
Material Defects
Where material supplied by us is later found to be defective (not meeting the certified grade or spec on the mill certificate), we will replace or repair the affected component at no cost.
Coating Systems
Hot-dip galvanizing is warranted to SANS 121 / ISO 1461 coating thickness at time of dispatch. Painted finishes carry a 12-month warranty against coating failure under normal exposure conditions.
Installation Workmanship
Site erection carried out by our own crews is covered for 12 months against installation defects — misalignment, incorrect bolt torque, or connection faults attributable to our erection work.
What Isn't Covered
- Damage from impact, misuse, or loading beyond original design specification
- Corrosion or coating failure caused by a coating system not supplied or specified by us
- Modifications or repairs carried out by a third party after handover
- Normal wear and weathering consistent with the specified material and finish
- Force majeure events (storm damage beyond design wind loading, fire, etc.)
Certified Quality Process
Every job carries material traceability back to its mill certificate and a weld inspection record — so a warranty claim isn't a debate about what was used, it's a lookup.
