Full portal frame structure and mezzanine platform for a 9,000 m² logistics warehouse, fabricated and erected in 11 weeks.
The Spec
The client needed a clear-span 40 m warehouse with a 1,800 m² mezzanine office platform, on a fabrication and erection programme compressed to fit around a fixed lease start date.
Our Approach
We ran detailing, procurement, and fabrication in parallel — cutting foundation-critical base plates first while beam and truss fabrication continued — and pre-planned the erection sequence to run two crane crews simultaneously on opposite ends of the frame.
The Result
Steel was delivered piece-marked to the erection sequence with zero site rework, and the frame was standing four days ahead of the compressed programme, allowing cladding contractors to start early.
